So are these all going to be in color now? Or are there just key images in color?

That bookshelf piece, by the way, is WAY nicer than it has any right to be, though I wish I could see the spider reading and the bookend a little better.

It's gonna be a crapload of new illustrations in color that accompany the older ones, which will be pared down. It's been a learning experience doing the digicolor and I'm only half comfortable with it just yet.

And thanks for the nice words on the bookshelf. The spider should be a second beat read, but maybe it's too dim.

Could be my monitor, as well. Learning curve or not, I think it's off to a good start. The characterization of the witches is pretty sweet, I must say.

Out of curiosity, is the time saved in doing the digital color substantial in comparison to doing the pieces in watercolor?

Oh yeah. Just the paper preparation is a big timesaver. And the planning time is a lot quicker too, knowing that I can change anything as needed.

Still, painting is more fun.

I'm really loving the perspective and how the witch was drawn.
